Just to let everyone know - Bill and Trevor are experiencing problems with their internet connection at present which is causing them great distress. Terrible withdrawal symptoms!

Bill can receive e-mails on his Blackberry but is unable to reply or to communicate through this site. Hopefully, this will only be a very short lived interruption to their service.

I am pleased to say that our BT phone line (down which the internet courses !) was reconnected this morning. As the ubiquitous water board seems to be digging up every available street in our area as part of their drive to replace London's Victorian water mains, they were under a heavy cloud of suspicion ! It's a reflection of our modern life how much we depend on such things for communication and how helpless one feels when its cut off or interrupted !
